An exciting opportunity to access and benefit from learning

Relaxation and Breathing techniques as well as ways to raise your

energy levels.

Led by Suzy Blackburn, yoga teacher and parent/family carer

Absolute beginners very welcome

These classes include basic yoga postures and flows and basic breathing

techniques, to raise energy levels and an introduction to meditation to help

with the low energy that can result from stress.

There will also be Tea/Coffee and Cake included at

the end of the session, a great opportunity for you

to have a chat and meet other carers.

well -being but also enabling family carers to raise

Our Carers Café is a monthly coffee morning for carers take place on the first Wednesday of each month at it’s new home of St. Sampson’s Centre, York.

This is an opportunity for carers to drop in for a break and a chat and meet other carers. Come along and join us for a drink and a teacake.

Please feel free to bring the person you care for if you wish. There is no cost.

The Centre is wheelchair accessible.

A Carer Support Worker will always be there to talk to, and a member of the York Mental Health Carers Group will be there for additional peer support.
