NEW Carers Action Group

NEW ACTION GROUP FOR CARERS IN YORK

York Carers Action Group

 Wed 10th June

York Carers Centre is inviting carers from across York to meet us, over lunch, and share the problems carers face and explore what we can do together to make a difference.

We want to make sure the theme of Carers Week ‘Building Carer Friendly Communities’ is something we can maintain by forming a new group, who will regularly meet with us to help drive change and enable carers voices to be heard amongst key decision makers, especially through the City of York Council and the NY Clinical Commissioning Group.

We extend a warm welcome to all carers to help ‘kick-start’ the new group ‘York Carers Action Group’ and join us on Wed 10th June for a lunch and discussion – please contact Sharron Smith for further details on 01904 715490 or email: Sharron.smith@yorkcarerscentre.co.uk

We look forward to hearing from you!
