Mental Health Carer Drop In

An informal monthly drop-in for family members and carers of someone with mental ill health.

Venue: Slug and Lettuce Swinegate, our group will be located near the Grape Lane entrance. We meet on the last Wednesday of the month from 7 to 9pm. 

The sessions are aimed at people who are:

  • caring for younger people
  • in the early stages of caring
  • caring for someone in crisis

The sessions are for carers only and are informal and supportive.

Carers Cafe

A friendly gathering for carers of all ages, and a chance chat to other carers and our staff over a hot drink and a teacake.

Monthly on the first Wednesday of the month from 10 to 11.30am at St Sampson’s Centre, Church Street, York

York Mental Health Carers Group

This group is run in partnership with charity Rethink Mental Illness York Group and is for anyone who cares for someone with mental ill health.

It meets on the second Wednesday of the month from 7  to 9pm at 30 Clarence Street, York and is for carers only.

There is no need to book, although if it’s your first time attending please contact us on 01904 715490 and we can welcome you to the sessions.
