York Carers Centre is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, young people, and vulnerable adults using our service. We believe everyone has the right to feel safe, respected, and protected from harm.

The Motability Scheme allows you to lease a new car, scooter, powered wheelchair or Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) by exchanging the mobility component of your disability benefit. Insurance, servicing, and breakdown cover are all included. You don’t need to drive – carers or family can be nominated. Leases last 3 – 5 years, with financial help available if needed.
