This quarterly group training is an opportunity for professionals to learn more about us and the support available for unpaid carers in York. This training will aim to help to improve your understanding of:
- the role of carers
- the effect this role has on their lives
It’s also an opportunity to explore how professionals can:
- help identify carers early
- recognise carers as ‘partners’ in care
- help carers look after their own health and wellbeing
