Our support groups are online

During this challenging time we appreciate that carers will be worried about the health of their family and the person they care for, and should not have to deal with this alone. So to during the period of social distancing we will be running some of our groups on Zoom to allow carers to access the support from home. We will continue to work within government guidance, and explore ways we can offer our face to face groups in the future.

If you’d like to take part in any of our groups/activities, and would like help setting up/using Zoom, please let us know, we’d be happy to help.

Our current support groups:

  • Carers Social: A friendly catch up with our carer support workers
  • Substance Misuse Carer Group: for people affected by someone else’s substance misuse
  • Substance misuse and/or gambling: for people supporting someone close through issues with gambling and/or substance misuse
  • Mental Health Carer Drop In: for anyone who carers for someone with a mental health condition.

To take part you’ll need: access to a device with a camera (phone/laptop/tablet), internet access, and access to the Zoom app
