When you spend a lot of your time caring for someone, your own needs can be forgotten about. However, it is really important to be able to maintain your own mental and physical health and wellbeing , so we have a new programme of workshops run by guest facilitators.

You are welcome to attend any one or all of these sessions and no experience of creative writing is necessary.
You will be guided by writer Emma McKenzie through creating and making stories using a range of techniques including sketching with words.
Please bring a notebook and pen/pencil. Venue: Friends Meeting House, Lower Friargate, YO1 9RL.

A series of six cookery and nutrition sessions for carers who would like to learn basic cookery skills, using delicious and affordable foods to benefit health and wellbeing.
