Help shape the York Carers Strategy 2019 – 2023

The York Carers Strategy 2019 – 2023 will set out York’s vision for promoting carers health and wellbeing in the city over the next four years. It is being produced by the Carers Strategy Group which includes representation from all the major providers of health and care services in York, alongside voluntary sector representatives and carers themselves.

It is absolutely vital that the strategy is shaped and informed by carers experiences and brings about genuine improvements in carers lives and the quality of services they receive.

For this reason a high profile Carers Strategy Engagement Event is being held which will be attended by carers from all ages and backgrounds alongside representatives from the public, private and voluntary sectors. It is your opportunity to shape the strategy and make sure your views and opinions are listened to.

The event will be held at City of York Council West Offices Boardroom on the morning of Thursday 6th December 2018, with an arrival time of 9.30 am for a 10.00 start.

It is important to let the event organisers know you are coming. To register your attendance please e-mail Clare Tate at City of York Council clare.tate@york.gov.uk or telephone 01904 555707
