Award winning ME documentary film ‘Unrest’ coming to York
‘Jennifer Brea is an active Harvard PhD student about to marry the love of her life when suddenly her body starts failing her. Hoping to shed light on her strange symptoms, Jennifer grabs a camera and films the darkest moments unfolding before her eyes as she is derailed by M.E. ), a mysterious illness some still believe is “all in your head.” ‘
The documentary film ‘Unrest‘, about Jen’s story and struggle with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) is coming to City Screen York on 1 November, showing at 8.45 pm. This film has won awards at The Sundance Film Festival and is a must see for all wishing and needing to know more about an illness affecting over 800 people in the York area alone.
