CANDI stands for Children AND Inclusion. They are the forum for parents of disabled children and young people, or those who have additional needs, in York and the surrounding area.

They run different groups and hold events in the community.

Talkback

Talkback is a voluntary, self advocacy organisation for anyone with a Learning Disability. If also supports family carers to have their own voice.

York Carers Forum

York Carers Forum offers support to all unpaid carers over 18 living or caring in the City of York area and:

provides a focus across all care groups
promotes carers needs
gathers and shares information for carers
identifes carers needs
works with agencies to develop appropriate services

York Carers Forum meets regularly and holds many social events for carers.
