Crossroads Care provides services through anetwork of local providers across England and Wales.

Each offers a variety of support services for carers including our core service where a trained carer support worker comes into the home to take over the caring responsibilities, enabling the carer to take a break.

Vulnerable adults in York and their friends, neighbours and carers have a wealth of information available to them at the click of a button thanks to the safeguarding adults in york website.

The website is created by York Safeguarding Adults’ Board (a partnership group responsible for ensuring the safety of vulnerable adults in York ) and advises the public and professionals on the types of abuse adults may be subjected to and what to do if they suspect abuse.

York Local Involvement Network (LINk) gives everyone in York the opportunity to influence local health and social care services.  They can help local people, groups and organisations to influence key decision makers within the local NHS, the City of York Council and organisations who provide our health and social care services.
