Talk and presentation by Chris Dowell about Georgian York at York Carers Centre on Wednesday 10 March 2010.
During the Georgian period York was seen as the social hub of the north, attracting the wealthy classes who came to see shows, dance and go to the races. We are holding a presentation of Georgian York which will take a light-hearted look at the Georgian period as experienced by the Yorkshire Gentry.
