Are you affected by substance misuse?
Annetta is our substance misuse worker and she supports carers who are affected by a family members’ substance misuse. This includes parents, children, grandparents, and siblings.
Annetta will focus support on you (the carer) but she will also work to help the whole family cope with the problems that arise from addiction. She can visit you at home, at our Clifton office, or at another suitable place.

New monthly art and relaxation group
If you are already working with Annetta you are invited to join this group, starting on Friday 9 September between 2 and 4pm and our Clifton Moor office. At the first meeting you will be able to enjoy some head massage and ear acupuncture. You don’t need to book but ring Annetta if you have any questions.
New weekly support group
This group will explore how families’ relationships are affected by substance misuse. If you want to come to this group, and are not using the Substance Misuse Service already, Annetta will arrange to meet you first . The group will start towards the end of September and will initially run for 6 weeks.
