We provide a number of services to carers in York:
- Drop in sessions every Friday between 11am and 3pm - we hold a drop in session for adult carers at the Carers Centre.
- Carers Emergency Card - free scheme, run with City of York Council's Warden Call Service, for carers who may worry about what will happen to the person they care for if they (the carer) is taken ill or has an emergency
- Information and advice - we have a specialised information and advice service for carers and professionals who may work with carers in any capacity
- Newsletters - quarterly newsletter
- Young carers - groups and one to one support for young carers
- Training - We provide training to professional's and organisations who have a carer focus
