Why become a member?
York Carers Centre is technically owned by its members. Members elect the Trustees at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and influence the direction the Centre takes. It is important that we have a large membership to make sure we are carer led.
Who can be a member?
- Carers and former carers
- Anyone with an interest in carers who is committed to supporting them
- Voluntary organisations who support carers
- Professionals who work with carers
Come to our AGM and have your say
Each year we have an AGM. If you are a member you will be able to vote during the meeting and elect Trustees. The AGM will be advertised on this website and in the newsletter.

We are a network member of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers.
