City of York Council and York St John University are running a project so people can donate their unwanted goods (bedding, clothes, stationary, toys, sealed non-perishable food in use by date etc) to students. If you want to donate items email: j.piddington@yorksj.ac.uk or phone 01904 876360.
The items will then be available to students and the community free in a shop on campus. Any unwanted items left after Freshers week in September will be passed onto charity shops, shelters, refuges in and around York.
We are a network member of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers.
