We have a new, free discount card for carers in York that can save you money at nearly 50 local businesses. A wide range of shops, services, restaurants and gyms are taking part. Discounts vary from business to business but are usually between 10% and 30% off. A full list of the businesses and the discounts available will be sent with your card and will also be available on this page.
How to get your card
If you have been in touch (or registered) with us between January 2009 and December 2010 we will send you a Carers Discount Card early 2011. You will also receive our new Data Protection statement (that says what we do with the personal information you give us) and our customer satisfaction survey. Please complete the survey as it really helps us to see if we are helping carers and to plan how the Centre will develop.
If you’ve not been in touch with us recently we will write to you in early 2011 to ask you to check the details that we have about you. Once you have done this, and confirmed that you are still a carer, we will send you your Carers Discount Card.
