York Carers Centre is an independent body that helps unpaid carers in York find the support they need. All help is free for carers and includes information and advice, a Carers Emergency Card, special services for Young Carers (8-18) and Young Adult Carers (18-25), and social activities.
What is a carer?
Carers provide regular help to a partner, child, relative, friend or neighbour due to frailty, physical or mental illness, addiction or disability.
