Lives Unlimited is a family and user led group of people, all volunteers, who are actively working towards enabling disabled people and older people in the York area to have more control over their lives, be included as equal citizens and enjoy the same choices and opportunities as anyone else in their community.

Carers Direct provides online blogs and forums for carers. It also has an active Facebook fan page at www.facebook.com/carersdirect, and a twitter account at www.twitter.com/carersdirect

CANDI stands for Children AND Inclusion. We are the forum for parents of disabled children and young people, or those who have additional needs, in York and the surrounding area.

Supporting children, young people, parents and carers, and anyone who looks after or works with children and young people in York. The website has different zones for different people who might want to find information: children, young people, parents and YorOK workforce (people who work with children and young people).

Every Disabled Child Matters (EDCM) is a campaign to get rights and justice for every disabled child. They work closely with the disabled children's sector and their 34,000 supporters to lobby Government to ensure disabled children and their families have the services and support they need to lead ordinary lives.
